Getting Started

Requirements

  • WordPress 4.3 or newer (tested up to WordPress 7.0)
  • PHP 7.0 or newer

1. Install and activate

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for "Logo Slider WP", click Install Now, then Activate.

Logo Slider now appears in your admin sidebar, with Dashboard, Logos, Showcases, Categories, and Getting Started sub-items.

A demo showcase and six sample logos are seeded automatically on activation, so there's something real to explore immediately.

2. Add your logos

Go to Logo Slider → Add New Logo. Only Brand Name and Logo Image are required — everything else (Website URL, Tooltip, Alt Text, Custom Brand Name, Description, Categories) is optional. See Logos for the full field-by-field reference.

3. Create a showcase

Go to Logo Slider → Showcases → Create Showcase. Choose a layout — Carousel, Grid, or Flexbox — then configure it in the Showcase Builder. Live preview updates as you go; nothing is saved until you click Update. See Showcase Builder for the full tab-by-tab reference.

4. Put it on a page

Two ways:

  • Gutenberg block (recommended). Add the "Logo Slider WP" block, select your showcase from the dropdown, done.
  • Shortcode. Copy the shortcode shown for your showcase (e.g. [lgxlogoslider id="39"]) and paste it anywhere shortcodes render — including Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and Beaver Builder.

See Embedding for the full comparison, or jump straight to Gutenberg Block / Shortcode for the deep dive.

Next steps

  • Group your logos with Categories so you can filter which ones appear in a given showcase.
  • Not sure why a logo isn't showing up? Check Support.
